Since 2022, we have been building a Mommunity where Mothers from different walks of life can connect, learn, discover and grow together. Through our Momdates, Young Moms Meet & Greet (YMMAG) and community initiatives, we bring Mothers closer to experiences, knowledge and opportunities that enrich their personal and professional journeys.
We also believe Mothers deserve to be heard, understood and valued by the brands that serve them. That is why theMOMTRIBE bridges the gap between Mothers and brands, creating opportunities for our Mommunity to discover products, understand their value, experience services firsthand and engage directly with the people behind them.
These meaningful collaborations help us sustain our Mommunity, expand opportunities and create a greater impact for Mothers across Malaysia.

These Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice explain what you can expect when engaging with theMOMTRIBE, how we respect your information and the shared responsibilities that help us create positive experiences for everyone.

PART A. TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. About Us
theMOMTRIBE is a Malaysian Motherhood empowerment platform operated by theMOMTRIBE Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 20260103724), referred to in these Terms as “theMOMTRIBE”, “we”, “us” or “our”.
These Terms apply to users of our website, Mommunity members, Momdate and YMMAG participants, Brand Partners, Mom Creators and others who engage with our programmes and services.
By using our website, registering for our programmes, purchasing tickets or accessing our membership services, you agree to the applicable Terms & Conditions and acknowledge our Privacy Notice. Separate agreements or programme specific requirements may apply to certain collaborations, activities or services.
2. Momdates, Programmes & Ticket Purchases
Our Momdates, YMMAG and other community programmes are thoughtfully designed to create meaningful experiences for Mothers. All registrations and ticket purchases are subject to availability, successful payment where applicable and any eligibility requirements communicated for the programme.
Tickets, Transfers & Credits
Ticket purchases are generally non refundable if you change your mind or cannot attend. If you are unable to join us, you may request a transfer to another eligible participant or a credit towards a future programme. Both are subject to our approval, availability and any conditions shared with you. Approved credits are not redeemable for cash, and transfers or credits are not guaranteed after a programme has started.
Programme Changes & Cancellations
Sometimes, plans may need to change. We may adjust programme schedules, venues, activities or arrangements and will keep registered participants informed. If we reschedule or cancel a paid programme, we will provide appropriate options or remedies, including refunds where required by applicable consumer protection law.
3. Our Mommunity & Programme Guidelines
We want every Mother to feel comfortable, respected and welcomed at theMOMTRIBE. By participating in our programmes, you agree to treat other participants, our team, speakers, Brand Partners and service providers with courtesy and respect, and to follow reasonable programme instructions.
We may decline participation or ask someone to leave if reasonably necessary for safety, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour, or failure to follow programme guidelines. Any refund decision will be made fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
Children at Our Programmes
Our Momdates and programmes are generally intended for adult participants. Children are not permitted unless expressly stated otherwise by theMOMTRIBE. For programmes where children are welcome, parents or guardians remain responsible for their children’s supervision, wellbeing and safety.
Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility
Your wellbeing matters to us. Please consider your health and circumstances before joining an activity and follow reasonable safety instructions. Fitness, wellness, travel and other specialised programmes may have additional requirements. When relevant, please tell the organiser or service provider about anything that could affect your safe participation. You remain responsible for your personal belongings. Nothing here limits legal responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Photography, Videography & Content Usage
At theMOMTRIBE, we love capturing and sharing the meaningful moments we create together.
Photography, videography and audio recording may take place during our Momdates, YMMAG and other programmes. By registering for or attending our programmes, participants acknowledge that these activities may take place and that resulting content may be edited, published, shared and repurposed by theMOMTRIBE and our authorised Brand Partners.
Such content may be used for community storytelling, programme highlights, social media, websites, promotional materials and relevant brand campaigns, subject to applicable privacy requirements and permissions.
We respect the privacy of our Mommunity. Participants with concerns about appearing prominently in identifiable promotional content may contact our team before the programme. We will make reasonable arrangements where practicable, although complete exclusion from incidental background or crowd footage may not always be possible.
Additional permission may be required for individual testimonials, sensitive personal stories, children’s identifiable images or advertising that suggests a personal endorsement of a product or service.
When you voluntarily share photos, videos, testimonials or other content with theMOMTRIBE for publication or promotional use, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permissions to share the content for the agreed purposes.
5. Our Brand Partners & Community Experiences
Meaningful brand collaborations allow us to introduce Mothers to products, services, knowledge and experiences that may add value to their lives. Some programmes may feature Brand Partners, sponsored activities, product demonstrations, samples, giveaways or promotional experiences. Participation in these activities is generally voluntary unless clearly stated as part of a programme’s requirements.
Products, services, advice, promotions and offers provided directly by Brand Partners or independent professionals remain subject to their respective terms and responsibilities. theMOMTRIBE does not guarantee the suitability, quality or results of every third party product or service.
If you have concerns about a Brand Partner’s product or service, please contact the relevant provider. We may help coordinate communication where appropriate, while remaining responsible for our own obligations under applicable law.
6. Membership, Benefits & Website Content
Membership opportunities, community privileges, offers and benefits may be introduced or updated from time to time. Eligibility, fees, validity periods and specific entitlements will be communicated when offered.
If a membership includes business visibility or website advertising, listings and submitted materials are subject to our review and approval. We may request changes, decline or remove content that is misleading, inappropriate, unlawful or inconsistent with our Mommunity values, subject to applicable terms and rights. A listing does not automatically mean theMOMTRIBE endorses that business.
Our website, logo, branding and original content belong to their respective rights holders and must not be copied or used commercially without permission. Please use our website responsibly and do not interfere with its security, misrepresent your identity or use it for unlawful purposes.
We take reasonable care in planning our programmes. Some experiences involve independent venues, speakers and other providers. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by events beyond our reasonable control or by independent third parties for whom we are not legally responsible. Your mandatory consumer rights remain protected.
PART B. PRIVACY NOTICE
7. Your Privacy Matters
Your trust matters to us. theMOMTRIBE respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly in accordance with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, as amended, and other applicable laws.
This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect personal information when you interact with our website, Mommunity, programmes, memberships and communications.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you connect with us, we may collect your name and contact details, registration and payment records, membership and programme information, occupation and interests, Motherhood stage or preferences you choose to share, feedback, enquiries, photos or recordings from programmes, and relevant website or cookie information.
We do not routinely collect children’s personal details. Relevant information about children may be collected where necessary for programmes involving children, with appropriate parental or guardian notification and permissions. Sensitive information, including health or fertility related details, will only be requested when relevant and processed with additional safeguards and consent where required by law.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to manage registrations, payments, memberships and Momdates; communicate important updates; respond to enquiries; improve our programmes and Mommunity experiences; create and share programme content with appropriate permissions; facilitate relevant collaborations; and meet legal and administrative requirements. We may also share news, offers and programme invitations where permitted by law and consistent with your communication preferences.
Information reasonably required for registration, payment and programme delivery may be necessary for us to provide the requested service. Other information will be optional where appropriate.
Sharing & Disclosure
Where relevant, personal information may be disclosed to authorised service providers, payment processors, programme partners, relevant Brand Partners and professional advisers for legitimate and disclosed purposes connected with our services, programme delivery and collaborations. Such disclosure will be limited to appropriate information and handled according to applicable legal requirements and permissions.
We do not provide unrestricted access to our Mommunity database. Brand Partners collecting personal information directly from participants remain responsible for providing their own applicable privacy information. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or a competent authority.
Marketing & Communications
We may send essential updates about your bookings, memberships and programmes. For promotional messages or disclosure to Brand Partners for their own marketing, we will seek separate consent where required. You can opt out of promotional messages using the unsubscribe option or by contacting us; essential programme messages may still be sent where necessary.
Information Security & Retention
We take reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss or disclosure. Information may be processed through trusted service providers and technology platforms, including those operating outside Malaysia, subject to applicable legal requirements and appropriate safeguards.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, legitimate operational needs and applicable legal obligations, after which it will be securely deleted, destroyed or anonymised as appropriate.
Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, withdrawal of consent where applicable, restriction of certain processing, or to exercise other rights available under Malaysian data protection law. Requests may be sent to our designated contact. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. Certain requests may affect our ability to provide specific services or programme benefits.

As our Mommunity grows, we may update these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice. The latest version and its effective date will appear on our website. We will communicate material changes and request additional consent where required by law.
These Terms are governed by Malaysian law without affecting your mandatory legal rights. Questions, feedback, complaints or privacy requests are always welcome. Please reach out so we can work towards a fair resolution.
